Project Description

The Scope of works includes:

•    Mainland Bridge approach facility 600m long, with 3 No. vehicle access lanes, connecting to the Mainland Causeway of Shurayrah Access Bridge route.
•    Steel Interim Bridge 590m long, 30m average spans, 3 No. vehicle access lanes, P/C Concrete Pier blocks construction.
•    Mainland causeway 1300m long & Island Causeway 1400m long, fill material Quarry run, Rock armour protection, 2 No. vehicle access lanes, asphalt road construction
•    Mainland jetty 700m long, fill material Quarry run, Rock armour protection,  2 No. vehicle access lanes, concrete blocks quay wall jetty head to accommodate a 60m cargo vessel & 2 passenger boats
•    Coast Guard jetty 740m long, fill material Quarry run, Rock armour protection, 2 No. vehicle access lanes, concrete blocks quay wall jetty head to accommodate a 60m cargo vessel & 2 passenger boats
•    3 No. island jetties, fill material Quarry run, Rock armour protection, 2 No. vehicle access lanes, concrete blocks quay wall jetty head to accommodate a 60m cargo vessel & 2 passenger boats
•    Sheybarah Island jetty 125m long, fill material Quarry run, Rock armour protection, concrete blocks quay wall jetty head, permanently moored barge with transboarding system), 2 No. mooring dolphins on steel piles.

Archirodon is working closely with TRSDC to relocate and transplant circa 21000 crates of corals as part of an Eco Diversity Programm that focuses on the environmentally sensitive environment.

Contract Variation:
The design, engineering, procurement and construction of the Coastal Village land raising works for and in connection with the development and funding of a luxury tourism destination located in a coastal area bounded by two cities (Umluj and Al Wajh) on the west coast of Saudi Arabia, along the Red Sea.
