The project included the construction of a precast post-tensioned segmental cable stayed bridge (using balanced cantilever method) consisting of 5 spans, of a total length of 255m, width of 34m and 5m clearance above MSL, with the main central span 102 m long. The bridge has two 22 m high towers rising up out of the deck, supporting steel tendons encased in concrete sail elements.
The project also included a complete interchange comprising of three precast pre-tensioned girder type bridges of total length of 238m, 60m and 22m and of one in-situ reinforced concrete vehicular underpass. The road works and utilities associated with the scheme included approach embankments, storm drainage, foul sewers, street lighting and hard landscaping.
